This Privacy Policy explains how the Zapthos application (“the App”), developed by Zapthos (“we”, “us”), handles user information. By installing and using the App, you accept the practices described here.

1. Data we collect

The App does not collect, store on servers, or transmit to us any personally identifiable data. There is no account, login, or collection of name, email, location, or contacts.

Usage preferences and settings (for example, selected programs and frequency parameters) are stored locally on the user’s device and are not sent anywhere.

2. Bluetooth and permissions

The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) solely to connect and communicate with the Zapthos hardware device. To do so, Android may request the following permissions:

•        Bluetooth / Nearby devices: required to detect and connect to the Zapthos device.

•        Location (where applicable): on some Android versions, scanning for Bluetooth devices requires this permission at the system level. The App does not use, log, or share the user’s location.

Data exchanged via Bluetooth is used only for communication between the App and the device, and is not stored by us.

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties, as we do not collect personal data.

4. Children

The App is not intended for minors and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

5. Security

Because usage information remains on the user’s device, its protection also depends on the device’s own security measures (screen lock, system updates, etc.).

6. Health notice

The App is intended for wellness purposes and is not a medical device, nor does it replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date of the latest revision appears at the top of this document.
